Episode 2.35 of AFITC comes your way today with a more jam packed show than perhaps ever. Alright, well we did not go back and evaluate the previous eighty shows for their degree of jam packed-ness but it is safe to say we cover a lot in a busy week in the world of hockey on today’s program.
The Redline Report begins with three Leaf Notes regarding Carlo Colaiacovo, Staffan Kronwall, and Mats Sundin. In the playoff recap, we examine all four second round series: two still in progress at the time of the show’s recording included the Sabres vs the Rangers and the Red Wings vs the Sharks and the two concluded series which saw the Ducks defeat the Canucks and the Senators defeat the Devils. Buffalo eliminated the New York Rangers this afternoon with a 5-4 victory in game 6. Later we update you on the progress of Team Canada at the World Hockey Championships and pass our judgment on the Shane Doan fiasco. We quickly examine the finalists for the NHL Awards that were announced this past week and conclude the Redline Report with a few Quick Hits.
