Episode 4.6

Well we’re past the first week of games and after a parade-planning worthy victory (to some at least) over the Detroit Red Wings on opening night, the Maple Leafs’ season is beginning to pan out in the way most people predicted: not so great. We’ll cover two losses this week at the hands of the New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins to kick off the Redline Report, followed by just one spin through the Revolving Door and news on the punishment handed out to Ryan Hollweg for yet another board major penalty on Thanksgiving Monday against St. Louis.

In Quick Hits, we discuss Steve Yzerman’s appointment as Executive Director for Team Canada at the 2010 Olympics, news on Kyle Wellwood and Mike Peca and tell you which Head Coach was the first to get the axe this season. On The Bubble features Listener Email from Mitch and Aaron, the Junior Hockey Report and a Troubling Fact of the Week.

To conclude the show, rigamarole looks at the strong starts of the Edmonton Oilers and St. Louis Blues and how that could bode well for the Maple Leafs in years to come.
