Ahead on Episode 4.27 of AFITC, the Maple Leafs continued, to the dismay of many fans, to play themselves out of the John Tavares sweepstakes with two wins in three games this past week. Through the details of those contests we go to kick start the Redline Report, before updating the Maple Leaf injury situation in the Revolving Door. Quick Hits follow with news on a Maple Leaf prospect signing and harsh words from Head Coach Ron Wilson towards Justin Pogge.

On The Bubble brings you Listener Email this week from Clayton, Alan, and Aaron and the Junior Hockey Report with an update on the OHA Central Division playoffs and news on three NCAA distinctions. To wrap the segment, Jeff Brown of the OHL’s Oshawa Generals joins us on the program to discuss a variety of topics from his jump to Major Junior Hockey to fighting in the game and much more.

Rigamarole concludes the show with a look at how the potential goaltending situation for Team Canada at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics has changed drastically in the past three months. If you’re sad the Leafs won’t likely lay their hands on John Tavares, just wait till you hear what his former teammate Jeff Brown says about him.

Big thanks to Jeff Brown for taking time and joining us in the studio for Episode 4.27 in what turned out to be an outstanding interview (on his part at least, we’ll let the listeners judge Dave and Jeff)!
