Fri, 20 March 2009 Louie Caporusso - who appeared on Episode 3.23 of AFITC - has been selected as one of ten finalists for the 2009 Hobey Baker Memorial Award. Read the following article from stmichaelsbuzzers.com and help Louie reach the group of three finalists to be announced on April 2nd, 2009.ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN - Coming off an All-CCHA First Team distinction last week, former Buzzer Louie Caporusso – currently playing NCAA Division I hockey for the University of Michigan Wolverines – has been named one of ten finalists for the 2009 Hobey Baker Memorial Award. The award is given out annually and recognizes the top hockey player for athletic performance, character on and off the ice, sportsmanship and scholastic success. Caporusso, in his sophomore season with
the Wolverines, led the team in goals with twenty three, leaving him
with the second highest total in the nation at the end of the regular
season. He also led the team in points with forty three and recorded
two natural hat tricks. Of the ten finalists selected by a
vote from the fifty eight coaches throughout the country, a group of
three finalists will be selected by the Hobey Baker Committee and
announced on April 2nd, 2009. You can help Louie reach the
